Maha Avadhuta Yogi Gurubanandha – The Mysore Pak Siddhar
Welcome to the sacred history of Maha Avadhuta Yogi Gurubanandha, a magnificent spiritual master who descended to earth to burn away human karma and guide souls from darkness to light. Connected directly to the ancient lineage of Siddhar Boganathar and Pulipani Siddhar of Palani, his life blends fierce cosmic power with deep, sweet compassion.
The Divine Form and the Fierce Path (Ugra Marga)
Yogi Gurubanandha was not an ordinary saint. He lived in the absolute Avadhuta state—completely detached from the material world, wearing no clothes or just a simple loincloth (Kovanam).
He did not speak like ordinary men. His voice carried the raw vibration of the universe, and his words acted as instant commands to nature. He followed a fierce path (Ugra Marga), using his intense energy to shatter spiritual hypocrisy, ego, and false pride in anyone who approached him.
3 Pillars of His Cosmic Powers (Siddhis)
Yogi Gurubanandha’s miracles were not magic tricks; they were advanced demonstrations of Alchemical Science and higher-dimensional laws.
1. The Flying Mace (Gadayudham)
The most astonishing phenomenon of his life was his sacred Mace. Defying all laws of gravity, this heavy weapon would travel through the open air and float across the sky directly into his hands whenever he willed it. He used this cosmic weapon to destroy negative energies and humble arrogant seekers.
2. Time Travel and Bilocation
He possessed total mastery over the secrets of Kaya Kalpa (cellular transformation). This allowed him to dissolve his physical body into pure energy, travel across time, and appear in multiple geographic locations at the exact same time (Bilocation) to save his devotees.
3. Commanding the Five Elements
The Pancha Bhootas (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space) obeyed his silent commands. He could stop torrential rains from crossing a specific boundary or create a cooling breeze for his followers in the middle of a scorching desert heat.
Why is He Called the “Mysore Pak Siddhar”?
Though he was a fierce Avadhuta who wielded a flying mace, his ultimate grace was cloaked in sweetness. Yogi Gurubanandha mastered a unique spiritual alchemy: he encoded his intense karmic-burning energy into a physical piece of Mysore Pak.
The Alchemy of the Sweet: He turned a simple earthly sweet into a powerful spiritual medicine (Bhasma). When a devotee consumes this sacred prasad, it structurally alters their biological and karmic frequency.
Through this sweet prasad, thousands of people continue to experience life-changing miracles:
Removal of Marriage Obstacles: Clearing deep karmic delays to unite life partners.
Blessings of Fertility: Healing physical blockages to bless childless couples with children.
Instant Healing: Overcoming terminal illnesses through the atomic energy packed into the sweet.
The Lineage: From Guru to Bhaskar Siddhar
To carry his work into the modern world, Yogi Gurubanandha chose Bhaskar Siddhar as his primary spiritual successor. He completely transmitted his subtle energies, alchemical secrets, and the ancient wisdom of Bogar into his disciple.
| Maha Guru: Yogi Gurubanandha | Successor: Bhaskar Siddhar |
| The Fierce Path: Wielded the Mace and terrifying cosmic powers. | The Gentle Path: Manifests pure love, deep silence, and still presence. |
| The Source: The original powerhouse who created the Mysore Pak alchemy. | The Conduit: The compassionate hands distributing the sweet prasad to the world. |
His Presence Today
Though Yogi Gurubanandha took Maha Samadhi and left his physical frame, he remains eternally alive in his Astral Body (Light Body).
Every single time Bhaskar Siddhar hands a piece of Mysore Pak to a suffering devotee, the invisible, cosmic hands of Maha Avadhuta Yogi Gurubanandha are right there—showering raw, atomic healing energy and altering human destiny in a split second.
The Spiritual Journey of Gnana Oli Thavathiru Bhaskar Siddhar
Gnana Oli Thavathiru Bhaskar Siddhar was born into a spiritual family in the holy town of Palani, Tamil Nadu. His life is a beautiful example of how ancient Siddha wisdom can be brought into the modern world through pure love, deep meditation, and selfless service.
1. Extraordinary Childhood and the Foundation of Silence
Even before Bhaskar Siddhar was born, divine signs surrounded his mother. While walking, she would occasionally lose outer consciousness and fall. Miraculously, whenever her head touched the hard rocks, witnesses would hear a deep, metallic ring like a loud temple bell—yet she would always stand up completely unhurt. This was nature’s way of purifying her body to carry an advanced soul.
As a child, Bhaskar Siddhar was completely different from other children:
The 9-Year Meditation: From 1960 to 1969, he spent every single afternoon at the Periyanayaki Amman Temple.
Immovable Silence: Precisely at 4:00 PM, he would sit near the statue of Lord Nataraja and slip into a deep, unbroken state of silence until the temple closed at 8:30 PM, completely forgetting hunger, thirst, and the outside world.
2. Meeting the Master: Yogi Gurubanandha
Driven by a vivid dream at the age of fourteen, Bhaskar Siddhar walked deep into the elephant paths of the Palani hills until he found a hidden water spring called Valli Sunai. On the tenth day of his solo meditation there, a legendary 140-year-old saint walked out of the dense forest—Maha Avadhuta Yogi Gurubanandha (The Mysore Pak Siddhar).
The moment the great Guru looked at the boy and lovingly called him “My Child,” their past-life connection awakened, and Bhaskar Siddhar completely surrendered to his guidance.
Transformation in the Kolli Hills
At eighteen, he followed his Guru deep into the wild, misty Kolli Hills, living in a simple mud hut near the ancient Arappaleeswarar Temple. Surrounded by wild predators, Yogi Gurubanandha initiated him into Kaya Kalpa (the ancient science of body rejuvenation) and profound spiritual arts:
Overcoming Physical Needs: His hunger and thirst dissolved, his sleep dropped to less than an hour a day, and he gained the ability to sit perfectly still for ten days at a time.
Mastery of Secret Sciences: He mastered Jeeva Samadhi, Mantra, Tantra, and Yantra, Astrology, and Pancha Pakshi (ancient five-bird predictive wisdom). He also learned astral travel—safely separating his subtle body from his physical form to explore higher dimensions.
3. The Miracle of the Overflowing Pot
When the training was complete at age twenty-one, Yogi Gurubanandha informed his disciple that his earthly work was done. The Master entered a sacred underground tomb (Jeeva Samadhi) to consciously leave his physical body behind.
To comfort his grieving disciple, the Guru promised a miracle: a sealed copper pot of water placed above his tomb would overflow on its own as a sign that his consciousness was still alive.
As soon as the earth settled over the tomb, the water began to well up and pour over the sides of the sealed pot. Moments later, the Guru appeared to Bhaskar Siddhar in a brilliant body of light, whispering into his heart that he would live inside him forever, making his voice his own.
4. Simple Teachings for Everyday Life
Bhaskar Siddhar began helping thousands of people from nearby towns like Coimbatore and Tiruppur who came to him with family problems, illnesses, and heavy hearts. He guided them using beautifully simple analogies:
The Cinema Screen of Life
“Think of a movie playing on a screen. You see sad scenes, heavy fights, and people crying. But when the movie ends, the screen is not wet from tears or cut by swords. It remains perfectly white and clean. You are not the sad character in the movie; you are the permanent white screen. You are the Atma (the Soul), which is birthless, deathless, and always happy.”
The Secret of Deep Sleep
He explained that every human experiences God’s mindless peace every single night during deep sleep (Sushupti). In deep sleep, there are no thoughts, no worries, and no ego—you are like a king sitting on a throne of pure joy. Meditation is simply the art of bringing that exact same mindless peace into your waking hours.
The 21,600 Breaths (Vasi Yoga)
A human being takes 21,600 breaths every day. When we breathe out, the air goes 12 inches out into space, but when we breathe in, only 8 inches comes back. Losing those 4 inches of life energy causes sickness, aging, and death. Through Vasi Yoga, Bhaskar Siddhar teaches seekers how to balance this breath, stop the loss of energy, and awaken the inner spiritual power at the base of the spine to merge with the Divine.
The Burden of Karma
He reminded people that a human birth is extremely rare, earned only after migrating through 8.4 million lifetimes of lower species (like grass, worms, birds, and animals). He broke down karma into three simple parts:
Sanchita Karma: The massive mountain of all our past actions.
Prarabdha Karma: The small portion of that mountain we must face in this current life.
Agami Karma: The new choices we make right now.
He taught that the best way to melt this mountain of karma is through Jeeva Karunyam (showing pure kindness to all living creatures).
5. The Sacred Union: Householder and Jeevan Mukta
Destiny brought a wonderful partner into Bhaskar Siddhar’s life when he married a highly advanced soul. She was a Deepa Dharshini—a pure divine visionary who could see spiritual truths. Together, they proved that a person can reach the highest levels of spirituality while living a normal family life.
Over the years, followers noticed that while the Master helped many disciples prepare for underground Jeeva Samadhi, he never gave this initiation to his own wife. When asked why, Bhaskar Siddhar revealed a beautiful truth:
His wife did not need to go underground because she had already achieved Jeevan Mukti (liberation while alive). She did her daily chores, cooked meals, and ran the house, but her mind had already dissolved completely into pure peace. She was a living temple of absolute stillness.
Bound by an eternal connection, their voices, breaths, and souls remain permanently fused into the single, undying sound of OM.
6. The Three Sacred Initiations (Deekshas)
Bhaskar Siddhar guides seekers through three distinct spiritual steps based on direct experience:
Ātma Deeksha (The One-Letter Initiation): For seekers with a restless “monkey mind.” He provides a sacred, single-sound vibration that acts as an anchor, pulling the scattered mind into a quiet point of focus and inner peace.
Iraivanudan Inaippu Deeksha (Union with the Divine): Moves spirituality from “thinking” about God to “feeling” the Divine. He connects the seeker’s energy to universal consciousness, dissolving fear and anxiety through a living connection with the Siddha lineage.
Ātma Viyoga Deeksha (The Absolute Liberation): The most advanced initiation. It teaches the advanced seeker to separate the subtle body (Sukshma) from the physical body, removing all fear of death and granting absolute liberation (Moksha).
7. The Cycle of Compassion: Annadanam
Bhaskar Siddhar believes that true spiritual mastery belongs in the world, helping those who suffer. For over 8 years, he has dedicated his life to Annadanam—providing free, high-quality meals to thousands of pilgrims, seekers, and the poor every day.
This massive food distribution takes place daily in two major holy destinations:
Palani (His birthplace)
Tiruvannamalai (The sacred mountain town)
He never asks for donations, funds, or corporate sponsorships. Through the invisible, cosmic blessings of his teacher, Yogi Gurubanandha (The Mysore Pak Siddhar), everything needed to cook and feed the endless crowds arrives naturally at the perfect time.
