The Three Deekshas: The Path of Bhaskar Siddhar

1. Ātma Deeksha (The One-Letter Initiation)

The word Ātma refers to the soul, and this first initiation is the “One-Letter Initiation” (Manathai Oru Nilai Paduthum).

Most seekers come with a mind that is like a restless ocean. This Deeksha provides a sacred, secret vibration; a single letter or sound, that acts as an anchor. It is designed to pull the scattered energy of the mind into a single point of focus.

  • The Result: The “monkey mind” becomes quiet.

  • The Experience: You begin to feel a sense of inner peace and clarity that you haven’t felt before.

  • The Goal: To turn your eyes from the distractions of the outside world toward the silence within.

2. The Connection: Union with the Divine Presence (Iraivanudan Inaippu Deeksha)

Once the mind is still, the second initiation begins the process of Inaippu (Union). This is where spirituality moves from “thinking” about God to “feeling” the Divine.

In this stage, Bhaskar Siddhar connects the seeker’s energy to the universal consciousness (Iraivan). You begin to realize that you are never truly alone. The boundary between “you” and the “Divine” starts to thin, and a deep sense of devotion (Bhakti) and inner strength awakens.

  • The Result: Fear and anxiety disappear, replaced by a feeling of being “held” by a higher power.

  • The Experience: A warm, living connection with the lineage of Siddhas.

  • The Goal: To dissolve the ego and live in a state of constant guidance and grace.

3. Ātma Viyoga Deeksha The Liberation: Separating Soul from Body

This is the most advanced and rarest of the initiations. Viyoga means separation. Having lived this truth under his Guru, Gurubanandha Yogi, Bhaskar Siddhar guides the advanced seeker to realize the ultimate truth: “I am not this body.”

In this state, the seeker learns to perceive the Sūkṣma Śarīra (the subtle, astral body) as distinct from the Sthūla Śarīra (the physical, gross body). This is the science of the Silver Cord, where one understands that the soul is an eternal traveler and the body is merely a temporary home.

  • The Result: Total freedom from the fear of death.

  • The Experience: The ability to perceive higher dimensions and the true nature of existence beyond the five senses.

  • The Goal: Absolute liberation (Moksha) and the realization of one’s eternal identity.

The Cycle of Compassion: Annadhana

While these Deekshas provide spiritual nourishment, Bhaskar Siddhar honors the physical temple of the soul through Annadhana (Food Donation).

For over 8 years, he has been providing free meals to the hungry and to spiritual seekers in Palani and Tiruvannamalai. To him, feeding a hungry person is the highest form of worship; it is the physical manifestation of the Deekshas, recognizing the same Divine soul in every person who is fed.

“To still the mind is a gift; to connect with God is a blessing; but to realize the soul is eternal; that is the ultimate truth.”

In the lineage of Bhogar and Pulipani, initiation is not merely a ritual; it is a transfer of energy. Bhaskar Siddhar provides three distinct levels of Deeksha (Initiations) to help the seeker navigate the journey from the physical world to the depths of the soul.
